Crucial things to do before leaving home for vacation

Book flights 3 months prior

It’s best that you have your flights booked 3 months prior. It allows you to prepare for other things without feeling rushed. You can start monitoring the price at 3.5 months so you get the baseline price that fits your budget. The earlier you book your flight, the cheaper it could be, especially if you book international flights. 

Check your passport 3 months prior

It’s strongly recommended to check your passport expiration date at least 3 months prior your trip. Many countries require that your passport should be valid for at least six months before completing your travel.. 

Get necessary vaccines 2 months prior

Travelling to different countries may require you to get shot for specific vaccinations. Make sure to check the information from trusted source and get vaccinated accordingly. 

Plan your itinerary

it’s best to create your itinerary at least a month prior. It’s enough time for you to look for information about interesting spots to visit, and make arrangement accordingly. Keep your itinerary as both physical and digital document. 

Review health insurance a week prior
